Kittery, ME – March 7, 2011 --   Cherished Spaces group exhibit will open at Kittery, ME’s Haley Art Gallery with an opening reception on Saturday, March 19, 3-6PM.  The exhibit will feature works by artists: Suzie Goodwin, Susan Bailey, Dean Diggins, Robert Hollingworth, Scott Tubby, Ann Legg, Kimberly Meuse, and Gail Sauter.  Reception refreshments will feature delicacies from newly established Kittery Point Enoteca.   All opening day purchases will enjoy 20% discount.

WELLS RESERVE AT LAUDHOLM HOSTS WINTER WILDLIFE DAY

WELLS, Maine, February 4 - Winter Wildlife Day offers free fun indoors and out on February 24 at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm. From 10 am to 2 pm, the Wells Reserve, Center for Wildlife, and York County Audubon Society team up to celebrate wildlife and their habitats with live animal presentations (10 am and 12 pm), tracking walks (11 am and 1 pm), and a wildlife project for kids to take home. Bring snowshoes, sleds, and cross-country skis if you have them, so you can explore the trails and treasures of the Wells Reserve in mid winter. In the event of severe weather, Winter Wildlife Day will be postponed until Friday, February 25.
