KITTERY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Police in Kittery have charged a teenage boy with bringing a gun to school.
Kittery Police Chief Paul Callaghan says the incident happened a week ago Tuesday at Traip Academy.
The gun wasn't loaded and the boy never did anything threatening with it, although he did show it to other students.
The chief says the boy simply made a poor decision.

Because he's under 18, police are not releasing his name.
