Wells Reserve EcoDay: A Sustainable Planet Fair | Events
Discover eco-friendly ways to connect to a healthy future. EcoDay offers exhibits, activities, and workshops designed to educate, engage, and entertain people of all ages. Full details at wellsreserve.org/ecoday. More than 50 exhibitors will promote water sports, fitness, holistic health, and sustainable practices for homes and businesses. Among the activities planned for EcoDay are paddle surfing, kayaking, fly fishing demos, nordic walking, geocaching, TRX suspension training, yoga, and zumba. Organic farmer Lisa Turner, author of The Eat Local Cookbook, will deliver the keynote talk. Other presenters will speak on solar energy, alternative transportation, and making music tours more environmentally sustainable. This EcoDay, the third to be held at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm, will be rounded out with crafts and activities for kids, live music from Old Soul, good food, and local brews. Goodall Health Center, Maine magazine, and 98.9 WCLZ are the lead sponsors for EcoDay.
