Safe Haven to Receive Donation From Hayloft Dinners

For the second year in a row, no-kill Safe Haven Humane Society has been named beneficiary of the Hayloft Restaurant's Thursday evening dinner donations during March.

A portion of the proceeds of every dinner served on four consecutive Thursdays (March 10, 17, 24 and 31) will be donated to support Safe Haven’s cat rescue, adoption, fostering, and low cost spay-neuter programs, which serve the people of Wells, Kennebunk and southern York County.

“We’re very grateful for this support from the Hayloft’s owners and patrons,” said Joyce McKay, president of Safe Haven. “A Thursday evening dinner not only will fill your belly, but the bellies of some of the many adoptable kitties in our no-kill care.”

The Hayloft is located at 124 Post Rd. (Rt. 1) Wells, ME 04054, at the Ogunquit & Wells/Moody border. Call 207-646-4400 for reservations.

Safe Haven Humane Society is a no-kill cat rescue group serving Wells, Kennebunk, and the rest of southern York County. Located at 1616 Post Rd., just north of Rt. 109, it is dedicated to the “radical” notion that all companion animals, even the abandoned, forgotten and abused, deserve a loving and comfortable life.
