Join John Lichter, Bowdoin College's Samuel S. Butcher Associate Professor in the Natural Sciences, to discover how ecological recovery could stimulate economic activity in coastal Maine. Saturday/Sunday, May 12/13, 9 am to 5 pm Natural Beekeeping. Beginner and advanced beekeepers will both learn lots about sustainable beekeeping using natural techniques in this 2-day workshop with apiarist and author Ross Conrad. Conrad is past president of the Vermont Beekeepers Association, a regular contributor to Bee Culture magazine, and author of Natural Beekeeping: Organic Approaches to Modern Apiculture. $80.
