Just in time for the start of the holiday shopping rush, customers combing the Kittery stores for great gifts are expected to experience improved mobile broadband coverage and voice performance as a result of continued investment and innovation by AT&T*. The company announced today that it has completed a key initiative in its ongoing efforts to enhance the wireless capacity and performance of its mobile broadband network in the Kittery area.

The network enhancement adds new layers of frequency, also known as “carriers,” to a cell site in Kittery to more efficiently manage available spectrum and increase mobile broadband capacity.

First of all, I must apologize for my absence. It has been a lengthy month and I have been lost in a frenzy of flour, butter & eggs. Whipping up sweet treats for Bard and customers in various states has led my life into a more hectic than usual direction. The past week however, I have really settled into a groove, where I have even found time to revisit my most favorite and alluring thing to make: Parisian Macarons.

I first fell in love with these when I started watching Top Chef, Just Desserts. Please, do not laugh. I had never made them before as I usually stick to more comfort food type desserts and savory foods. But these little treats looked so beautiful and breath taking in there menagerie of various colors and flavors, how could I not fall in love with them instantly? I sat down the next day and googled macarons, the first thing I found was the great dispute over their spelling.

Here’s a disquieting little movie about a young woman who escapes from a cultish commune in upstate New York, only to be haunted by what she experienced there.

 

At the center of the story is Martha (newcomer Elizabeth Olsen), who is renamed Marcy May by Patrick (John Hawkes of “Winter’s Bone”), the creepy, charismatic leader of the commune.  Another cult member refers to her as Marlene when an outsider wonders who she is -- hence the four names in the title.

Musical: One Small Child

 

       

The musical "One Small Chld" will be held at the Ogunquit Baptist Church on Saturday, December 24th from 7:00 to 9:00pm.

"One Small Child" , a musical will consist of narration of the Christmas Story along with songs from our Choir and Praise Band.  Then the service closes out with a candle-lighting and singing of "Silent Night".

Freewill offering goes to support Retired Ministers and Missionaries.
